I have enjoyed photography for as long as I can remember.  I began by playing with my mom's cameras and eventually took a photography class early in high school.  I didn't get serious until much later in life when I was encouraged by family to acquire a better camera.

Since I bought my first/current DSLR, I have grown immensely as a photographer.  I have recently entered 5 of my photos in the local county fair.  All of them received ribbons; three received blue ribbons, the other  two received red ribbons.  One of the blue ribbon photos was also awarded "Best of Show" for its class.
